5 Star Amazon Review: 9 June 2011  Following the bold experiment with the form that was `Brassed Up', the Blues Band seem to have decided to take a more back to basics approach with this, their first release of the millennium. With a pleasingly stripped back sound they tackle some well worn blues songs and add a new sparkle to them. With everyone joining in with song selection and singing, you get a real sense of the camaraderie shared by this band, their basic good naturedness and most importantly the sheer pleasure they still get from playing this music. It may be a blues album, but it is one that always puts a smile on my face - it feels more like a pleasant evening out with a few good friends.
