Americana/Blues stalwart Todd Sharpville has been at the coalface of grass roots music for 30 years as a respected guitarist, singer, songwriter. The list of artists he’s worked with / for is long & diverse. Icons such as Joe Cocker, BB King, Hubert Sumlin, Ike Turner, Pink, Robbie Williams, George Michael, Duke Robillard, Albert Hammond, Mick Taylor, Snowy White, Kim Wilson, Bill Wyman, Rui Veloso, Joe Louis Walker, James Talley.

Sharpville gained recognition in 1994 with his debut blues album, Touch of Your Love, which won “Best Album” at the British Blues Connection awards. He was active in the European blues scene, providing backing for American blues artists like Hubert Sumlin and Chuck Berry. His second album, The Meaning of Life, released in 2001, featured notable musicians such as Mick Taylor and Leo Sayer, with whom he toured extensively. Sharpville has appeared on over 35 compilation albums and collaborated with many renowned artists throughout his career.

In 2010, he released the double album Porchlight, produced by Duke Robillard. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Sharpville created a professional lockdown backing band that streamed performances online and collaborated with various artists. He opened for Eric Clapton at the Royal Albert Hall in May 2022, promoting his album Medication Time. Throughout his career, Sharpville has remained a prominent figure in the blues genre, known for his guitar work and collaborations with iconic musicians.
